PALS providers learn how to navigate highly stressful situations in order to give victims much needed care, such as a child at a car crash.
PALS emphasizes working as part of a cohesive team in order to successfully resuscitate pediatric victims. The providers involved in this training learn how to rapidly and precisely appraise a victim’s condition before moving to the next steps.
Familiarity with Basic Life Support (BLS) is key to successfully completing a PALS test. Offered through our website, BLS training provides a strong foundation to acquire additional certifications. Minneapolis providers should refresh their BLS understanding periodically to ensure the most current methods.
Chain of Survival” outlined in BLS illustrates one and two person resuscitations while providing an important skill set in a society where cardiac arrest is the leading cause of fatalities in the world. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) teachers focus on how to increase survival rates during neurological and cardiac emergencies, utilizing BLS techniques to do so.
